I’m excited to announce a new free community fitness event in Boston! In collaboration with LLEGO Boston, I’ll be leading an inclusive 50-minute workout at the Mattahunt Community Center in Mattapan.
But this is more than a workout—it’s about building health equity, fun, and connection. I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring this offering to the community, especially as we kick off the new year with intention and movement.
DETAILS
Date: Every Friday
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Mattahunt Community Center
Address: 100 Hebron St, Mattapan, MA 02126
Cost: Free and open to the community
Join us for our first session! We’ll move through a dynamic mix of bodyweight exercises, battle ropes, resistance bands, slam balls, and other equipment. I’ll provide modifications for all levels, so everyone can participate safely and confidently.
Our focus: heart health, strength, and emPOWERment—with movements designed to counter the effects of prolonged sitting and screen time. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to shake up your routine, this is a space for you.
This is a volunteer-led, community-centered event, and I’ll be bringing new equipment each time I teach to keep things fresh and engaging. If you can’t make it this week, that’s okay—I’ll be leading future classes as well. And be sure to follow LLEGO Boston for updates on additional workouts led by other experienced instructors.
Please feel free to share this event with your networks, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
